Dear [Owner / manager name],
My name is [Your name] and I race cross-country mountain bikes for [Your team name]. This season I’m asking a few local businesses I admire to sponsor my racing — and I’d love for [Business name] to be one of them.
Who I am
I’m a [grade] student at [Your school], and this is my [Xth] season racing. This season I’ll compete in [X] races, including [race name + date], [race name + date], and [race name + date]. You can see my full schedule and results at [team site / social].
What you get
- Your business name on my [race kit / team jersey] at every race this season
- [X] social media posts this season tagging @[your handle] — plus a welcome post the week you come on board
- [X] race photos per month featuring your business name, for your website and socials
- An invitation to [race / event] — come watch a race and meet the team
- A season-end recap of everywhere your name appeared, race by race
What it costs
A full-season sponsorship is $[amount] — suggested with your budget in mind; I’m happy to talk options. Every dollar is a tax-deductible donation to Grove Athlete Development, a registered Utah 501(c)(3) (EIN 41-4818356) — not a payment to my family. GAD sends you an official donation receipt for your records; your tax advisor can confirm deductibility for your situation.
How to say yes
Reply, call, or text — a parent or guardian joins every conversation: [parent/guardian name] · [phone] · [email]. If you’re in, we’ll sign a simple one-page agreement so we both know exactly what I’ll deliver (preview it here).
Thank you for considering it — and for backing youth cycling in our community,
