Athlete Sponsor Agreement

This agreement is between [Athlete name] (and, if the athlete is under 18, their parent or guardian, [parent/guardian name]) and [Business name], represented by [representative name], for the [season year] competitive season.

1.The Support

The sponsor will donate $[amount] to Grove Athlete Development (a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, EIN 41-4818356) in support of the athlete’s [season year] competitive season. The athlete’s family does not receive these funds directly: the donation is held by Grove Athlete Development and credited to the athlete’s season award, used for eligible season expenses.

2.What the Athlete Provides

In return, the athlete will provide the visibility items checked below — adapt this list to whatever was actually promised:

[X] social media posts per month tagging @[handle]
The business’s name or logo on the athlete’s [race kit / team jersey / signs]
[X] photos per month from races or training, for the business’s own use
An invitation for the sponsor to attend [race / event]
A season-end recap of the season and where the business’s support appeared

A parent or guardian joins any in-person conversations about this agreement while the athlete is under 18.

3.Term

This agreement covers the [season / year] season. Either party may end it early with a short written note to the other (email is fine).

4.Receipt

Grove Athlete Development will provide the sponsor a donation receipt for their tax records. The athlete’s family provides the visibility promised above — not financial returns of any kind.
